The Hume Fire Department along with Bates County Sheriffs Deputies and the Missouri State Highway Patrol are in route to a one vehicle accident 1/2 mile South of V Highway on U Highway in rural SW Bates County.
The accident is said be a unknown vehicle that has struck a tree that was in the roadway.
We are unsure at this time if anyone is injured in this accident.

Yesterday, Officers of the Garden City Police Department were notified
that a man who was wearing only a shirt and nude from the waist down had
just left the 7 Stop Convenience Store in the 100 Block of 7 Hwy.
While officers were talking to the witnesses,
The man was seen driving
by the store. The 57 year old man from Harrisonville, Mo was stopped at
N Hwy & Z HWy and arrested for indecent exposure.

The Butler Police Department along with the City of Butler Electric Crews are in route to a utility pole that is down at a residence located at 705 South High Street in Butler.
We are unsure of any power outages at this time but we will update when and if we receive any reports.

On 7/24/16 around 3:02pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County arrested 26 year old Julie A. Nieder of Nevada, Missouri.
She was arrested for 1.) Felony Bates County Sheriff's Office arrest warrant.
Julie A. Nieder was booked into the Bates County Jail and is currently listed as bondable.
