* Route 52: One-lane traffic and traffic stops up to 20 minutes in areas between Butler and Missouri/Kansas state line. Sealing road with mixture of rock and oil.

* Route A: One-lane traffic and traffic stops up to 20 minutes in areas between I-49 and Route U near Rich Hill. Sealing road with mixture of rock and oil.

* Route M: One-lane traffic in areas between Route B north of Schell City and I-49 north Nevada. Patching.

* Route B: ROAD CLOSED over Mission Branch east of Rich Hill. Bridge deck replacement. (Completion: August 2016)

* Route D: One-lane traffic in areas east of Passaic. Patching.

Not guilty verdict for Peculiar man in 2014 Cass County cemetery murder

A Cass County jury returned a not guilty verdict Friday for a Peculiar man charged in the 2014 shooting death of Forrest Fuller, 25, at a local cemetery.

Tyler Smallwood was 18 when he was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the case, which was investigated by the Kansas City Metro Squad and included 30 investigators from 14 agencies.
