A open interview day is set for Tuesday, August 9th, from 9am to 4pm!
Butler Parks and Recreation Department First Annual Co-ed Wood Bat Classic
The tournament will be held August 13 at the Osage and Comet fields.
The cost is $200.00 per team and a team must have 6 guys and 4 girls.
Registration deadline for this event is August 10th.
The Parks Department will be supplying the bats and the participants must supply the balls 52-300.

15 years of service for Osterberg

One killed in Henry County rollover accident
Around 10:55am this morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County along with the Henry County Sheriffs Office responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Route Z .2 Miles West of Bridge A3694 in rural Henry County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2004 International driven by 53 year old David C. Vandeburg of Eldon, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway, driver over corrected causing the vehicle to overturn and strike a ditch.
Mr. Vandeburg was killed in the accident and he was transported to Bradley & Hadley Funeral home in Clinton, Missouri.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Golden Valley Wrecker.
This is Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 39th Fatality accident of 2016.
