Clinton woman injured in two vehicle Johnson County Crash

Around 1:35pm this afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Johnson County responded to a two vehicle accident on Missouri 13 Highway just North of County Road SE 250 in rural Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2001 Buick Century driven by 21 year old Allie S. Tucker Madsen of Warrensburg, Missouri was stopped attempting to make a left hand turn when she was stuck in the rear by the 2005 Chevrolet Impala driven by 47 year old Scott O. Sather of Clinton, Missouri. 

A passenger in Mr. Sather's vehicle 38 year old Amanda S. Sather sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri.

Both vehicle sustained extensive damages and both was towed from the scene by Tip Top Tow.

Obituary - June (Bradley) Horrocks

June (Bradley) Horrocks, formally of Eagle Rock, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016, at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, in 2007.

Funeral Service details are pending with White Funeral Home, 196 Sale Barn Rd., Cassville, MO 65625. 

Visitation will be held for Mrs. Horrocks at Hill & Son Funeral Home, Appleton City, Missouri on Saturday, August 13, 2016 between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

A graveside service will be held at Appleton City Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. (following the visitation at Hill & Son Funeral Home) under the direction of White Funeral Home from Cassville, MO.

Ciamak Noorbakhsh, 57, Kansas City, Missouri, died Sunday, August 7, 2016 at his home. Visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00 Thursday, August 11 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri, with graveside services to follow at Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, Missouri.

Rich Hill Farmers Market looking for vendors

Rich Hill Farmer's Market official call for vendors! The market will be held the first Saturday of each month from 7am-1pm.

There will be a market every Tuesday evening from 4pm-8pm. All markets will be held in the East Park on 13th street. This is behind Swopes. 

The cost is $3 for a permit. Jennifer Hall will be selling them when you arrive. The permit is good for one market day only.

She need to approve what you plan to sell. No live animals, chicks, etc.


Please PM Jennifer Hall if you want to participate. This is NOT a garage sale. This is a place to sell your crafts, baked goods, produce, plants, flowers, and direct sales

You will be responsible for bringing tables and chairs for your set up.

Anyone seen this stolen bicycle from Garden City

The Garden City Police Department Receive a rreport of Stolen Schwinn Boy's Bicycle On August 08, 2016 Officers of the Garden City Police Department received a report of a boy's Schwinn "Z Force" Bicycle (similar to the one pictured below).

The bicycle was taken from Harvest View Apartments in Garden City. The bicycle was taken sometime in the evening hours of August 03rd.
