Lightning sparks possible fire in Butler

Likewise, there are reports of power outages throughout Butler, crews are in route at this time.
There are also numerous areas of flooding around town, use extra caution when traveling- and remember, DO NOT drive through high water for any reason.

While others where in for the evening, work continued at the new concession stand at the Butler Bears Football field last night.
The crew from Herrell Construction donated their time to insure that all concrete and brick work at the facility would be complete prior to the upcoming game.

38th Annual Ciderfest Louisburg Kansas Cider Mill
Save the date... Our 38th Annual Ciderfest is just around the corner! Two weekends: Sept 24 & 25 and October 1 & 2, hours 8am - 6pm. Pancake breakfast 8:30-11am both days. Live music 12-5pm. Watch us make our famous cider & donuts! Craft booths, BBQ, pumpkins, & more!
Kids activities include pony rides, inflatables, and our pumpkin patch & corn maze area will be open from 10am-10pm Saturday and 10-6pm on Sunday.
Admission to the pumpkin patch & corn maze is $9/person (kids 3 and younger free). There is no admission or parking fee to attend the Ciderfest. See you there!
