Rachel June Harmon, 74, Nevada, MO passed away on September 7, 2016 at her home in Nevada. Rachel was born October 8, 1941 in rural Horton, MO to Walter Sewell and Opal June (Webster) Harmon.
Rachel was raised in Horton and attended school in Metz. After her father’s passing in 1958 she along with her mother moved from the family farm to Nevada. Rachel continued to attend school in Metz and graduated High School with the Class of 1959. Following high school Rachel worked at Key Industries in Nevada for 40 years until her retirement. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, sewing, reading, and was a member of the Genealogical Society in Nevada. Rachel also attended the First Christian Church in Nevada.
Survivors include two great-grandsons, Dustin Dulier, and Justin Dulier, both of Nevada. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Ann Harmon Dulier; and one nephew, Randy Dulier.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
Cass Co. – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the
public’s help to locate a vehicle possibly involved in the death of
Megan Wheeler.
Investigators believe that Ms. Wheeler was walking home when she was
struck by a vehicle. Investigators are looking for the following type
vehicle:
1994-2002 Dodge Truck
Damage to the front passenger area
Models can range from 1500,2500, & 3500

Charles "Charlie" R. Sweet, 76, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in Madison, Wisconsin.
Funeral services are pending at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.
Service times and a complete obituary will be posted when that information is available.

(RNN) – Kellogg’s is recalling 10,000 cases of Eggo Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat Waffles due to a risk of listeria.
The waffles have a UPC code of 38000 40370 and a best if used by date of Nov. 21, 2017 or Nov. 22, 2017.
No other Eggo products have been recalled. The company says it hasn’t received reports of illness but is recalling the waffles as a precaution.
The recall affects 25 states: Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
Kellogg’s says those who bought the waffles should throw them away and contact them for a full refund.
