From a time well before cell phones and video games...

Students from Butler, Ballard, Miami and Adrian fourth grade classes enjoyed visiting the past today at Frontier Village in Adrian.

The youngsters got a close look at how life was when machines slowly began to take over early in the 20th century. The visit also included some tuition on trades such as blacksmithing, running a steam engine and how a sawmill is operated.

Students also took a train ride, attended a one room schoolhouse and church before the day was over.

The winds of change....bring rain

It almost feels more like Spring today...strong southern breezes and temps in the 80's. However, it's going to feel a lot more like Fall in a few days. The latest forecast calls for a 20% chance of showers today and tomorrow with that number increased to 90% on Thursday.

Highs will remain in the 80's the next couple of days then drop to the upper 60's and lower 70's around Friday.

Planning for the weekend? Saturday it will be sunny with a high around 67.
