Two Eldorado Springs teens injured in rollover accident

On 10/13/16 around 8:05am the Missouri Highway Patrol in Cedar County responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Route BB around 6 miles South of Eldorado Springs, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2000 Ford Explorer driven by 18 year old Jeremiah P. Johnson of Eldorado Springs, Missouri swerved and lost control causing the vehicle to run off the left side of the roadway, strike a utility pole before overturning.

Mr, Johnson was well as a passenger in his vehicle 17 year old Hannah J. Johnson of Eldorado Springs, Missouri both sustained minor injuries in this accident.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Steward's Towing of Eldorado Springs, Missouri.

Adrian man arrested after Cass County crash near Archie

On 10/12/16 around 6:58pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County arrested 28 year old Daniel M. King of Adrian, Missouri.

Mr. King was arrested for 1.) Driving While Intoxicated 2.) Driving While Revoked.

He was released to seek medical attention for serious injuries that was sustained in the accident.

Four seriously injured in Cass County crash near Archie

On 10/12/16 around 6:04pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with the Archie Police Department and Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the Southbound Lanes of I-49 at Mile Marker 150 in Archie.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2006 Pontiac driven by 36 year old Tavia J. Smith of Adrian, Missouri came to a stop in the roadway for unknown reasons and was struck in the rear by the 2012 Ford driven by 28 year old  Daniel M. King of Adrian, Missouri.

Mr. King as well as two passengers in his vehicle 22 year old Jeffrey M. Hicks of Warsaw, Missouri and 33 year old Valerie A. Lezer of Archie, Missouri all sustained serious injuries in this accident, All were transported to Cass Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A passenger in Tavia J. Smith's vehicle 39 year old Joshua P. Gillespie of Adrian Missouri sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by life flight to Research Main Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Both vehicle were totaled and towed from the scene by Adrian Tow and J's Southland Tow.

Iowa man escapes injury in Henry County motorcycle accident

On 10/12/16 around 2:30pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County responded to a one vehicle motorcycle accident on Missouri 13 Highway at NW 950 in rural Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2010 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven by 59 year old Daniel R. Johnson of Winterset, Iowa ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Mr. Johnson sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was treated at the scene by EMS and released.

The bike received extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Golden Valley Wrecker.

Obituary - Justin Daniel Eager

Justin Daniel Eager, 39, of Kansas City, Missouri. Jesus received his spirit and carried him through the light into God's presence on October 10, 2016. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 11:00am in the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, MO. 

Visitation will be one hour prior. Inurnment will be at the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and can be left in care of the funeral home. He was born on March 15, 1977 in Clinton, Missouri. Throughout his life he crammed as much life, love, and laughter as he could in his 39 years. The most precious loves of his life were his two daughters which he was extremely proud of. He was blessed by the friendships he made along the path of life.

He is survived by his parents, Mike and Joyce Eager, sister, Brandy Eager-Valentine (John), daughters; Kathryn and Lauren all from Belton, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Eager, Glen Jr and Linnie Smith, and infant son Jacob.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
