This is a crime and will be prosecuted if the individuals can be identified.

Stolen trailer in Henry County

The Henry County Sheriff's Office sent out a Nixle about a stolen black in color lawn mower trailer that was taken within the last 30 minutes around the area of Missouri Highway 2 and Highway J in rural Henry County.

The suspect vehicle is said to be a gold in color unknown make or model mini van.

Early morning rollover in Cass County injures Tennessee man

On 11/2/16 around 12:40am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident in the Northbound Lanes of I-49 at Mile Marker 151.4 in rural Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1999 Volvo driven by 49 year old Jimmie L. Hooks of Memphis, Tennessee swerved to miss a deer in the roadway causing the vehicle to travel off the left side of the roadway, Mr. Hooks over corrected and traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Jimmie L. Hooks sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by Cass County EMS to Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri for treatment.

The Volvo received extensive damages and it was towed from the scene by J's Southland Tow.

Stolen 4 wheeler in Adrian

On 10/30/16 between the hours of 3pm and 6pm a red in color 2004 Polaris Sportsman 500 4 wheeler was stolen in the Adrian area of Bates County.

Thunderstorms Possible Today

The calendar might show November, but our warm weather continues with a chance of thunderstorms today across much of the area. 

A few of the strongest storms may contain gusty winds, locally heavy rainfall, and hail.

Obituary - Ila Latcham

Ila Latcham 88 of Rich Hill, Missouri passed away Monday October 31st at Breezy Meadows in Butler, Missouri.

Funeral Service are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, at the Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hll, with burial planned in the Green Lawn Cemetery, Rich Hill. 

The family receives friends between one and two o'clock Friday afternoon, Nov. 4, at the funeral home and memorials to Heartland Hospice are suggested.




Vehicle fire West of Rich Hill

The Bates County Sheriffs Office along with Rich Hill Fire Department and Rich Hill Police are on scene of a vehicle fire at this time.

The location of the vehicle that is on fire is 1/2 mile North of Greenlawn Cemetery West of Rich Hill.

The unknown vehicle is said to be fully engulfed in flames at this time and all occupants are out of the vehicle.
