Baby Remington Craft drew even more support from our community as shown here by workers at Russell Stovers and the Bates County Children's Division yesterday. Baby Remington is currently recovering from the first of several surgeries to correct a heart defect.

On 2/7/17 around 9:10pm the Clinton Police Department arrested 40 year old Glen E. Cissell of Clinton, Missouri.
Mr. Cissell was arrested for 1.) Warrant - 2nd Degree Domestic Violence 2.) Warrant - Interfering with Felony arrest 3.) Resisting Arrest/Detention/Stop by fleeing - Creating a substantial risk.
He was booked into the Henry County Jail and is currently listed as bondable.

The Drexel FBLA had a very successful day at FBLA Districts.. We brought home 33 top 5 Medals and had 19 events qualify for state! The Drexel sponsors couldn't be more proud and excited for our students.

Lebanon Mo - The Laclede County Sheriff's Office needs your help to find Cassandra Sien.
The 21 year old was reported missing by her parents from their family home in Grovespring, Missouri. She has not been seen since last night.
Police say Sien left home without her medication and functions at a low mental capacity and has a history of meeting strangers from social media sites.
She was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black or blue t-shirt and black slippers.
If you know anything about her disappearance, call the Laclede County Sheriff's Office at 417-532-2311.
UPDATE: The Laclede County Sheriff's Office says Cassandra Sien, 21, has been found and is back home with her family.
The Adrian Fire Department is responding to a possible oven fire in a residence located at 13102 NW County Road 1001in rural Adrian.
The house is said be filling up with smoke at this time and everyone is out of the home.
Mid America Live News will update this when more information becomes available to us from the Adrian Fire Department

Looks like we will get a taste of Winter and Spring all within the next
few days! High temps will barely get above freezing the next couple
days with low temperatures below 20°F Thursday morning.
This along with bring chilling wind chills near 5°F making it feel a lot like Winter,
but don't worry it doesn't last long.
The winds will shift to the
south-southwest Thursday night bringing in lots of warm air that will
dramatically increase temperatures Friday into the mid 60s. That's a 30
degree increase in high temperatures from Thursday to Friday!!

On 2/7/17 around 11:39am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County arrested 29 year old Amber N. Shipps of Windsor, Missouri.
She was arrested for 1.) Felony Henry County Sheriffs Office Warrant - Probation Violation X2 2.) Felony Resisting Arrest.
Amber N. Shipps was booked into the Henry County Jail and she was placed on a $100,000 Cash only bond.
