CANNED GOOD NIGHT - BRING A CANNED FOOD GOOD AND RECIEVE FREE GENERAL ADMISSION TO THE NIGHTS RACING ACTION!!! RACING WILL INCLUDE OUR MINI STOCK/FWD, PURE STOCK, STREET STOCK, MIDWEST MOD, B-MOD, A-MOD AND LATE MODEL CLASSES.
GATES WILL OPEN AT 4:30PM, DRIVER CUTOFF AT 6:30PM, HOT LAPS AT 7:00PM WITH RACING TO START AT 7:30PM.

Due to the recent fire at the Ohio Street United Methodist Church Services have been moved to the Mullinax Funeral Home located at 10 S. High in Butler..
There will be one service at 9:00am on Sunday mornings until further notice."

As a total we had 43 bikes and about 50 riders. We raised over $3000 for the Vail family.
We want to thank everyone that participated and made this a fun effort. Special thanks to Mama's Kitchen for letting us stage and do registration and, to Double TT Steak House in Drexel, Blue's in La Cygne, The Flaming Lantern in Butler, Wimfield's on Main in Adrian.
A very special thanks to The Fishing Dock in Archie. They bent over backwards to help us out and gave us a very nice gift basket and donation.
Great service when all the folks showed up and let us conduct our drawing and auction. We could not have done this with all the help from the many sponsors and donations.

Showers and Storms Sunday Morning
Another round of showers and storms will move into the area from Kansas tonight and linger through much of Sunday.
Adrian woman seriously injured in ATV accident
On 3/31/17 around 8:00pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with the Adrian Fire Department, Bates County Sheriff's Deputies and Bates County EMS all responded to a ATV Accident at 16442 NW County Road 4001 in rural Adrian.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2017 Artic Cat 500 ATV driven by 22 year old Michelle L. Newsome was traveling Northbound on private property when she lost control of the ATV and struck a tree ejecting the driver.
Michelle L. Newsome sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported by Bates County EMS to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
The ATV received moderate damages and it was secured at the scene.

He was booked into the Henry County Jail and placed on a $500 cash/surety bond.

Butler man arrested in Bates County

On 4/1/17 around 12:03am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County arrested 38 year old Robert C. Gabriel of Butler, Missouri.
Mr. Gabriel was arrested for 1.) Three Felony Bates County Sheriff's Office Warrants 2.) Driving While Suspended.
He was booked into the Bates County Jail and he is currently listed as bondable.
