How high's the water, mama?

You have to wonder how many people were humming the old Johnny Cash song 'Five Feet High and Rising' the last few days

This photo taken by Butler Fire Chief Jason Bennett pretty well sums up the amount of rain in Butler over the weekend, which so far has brought with it some power outages, downed trees, blocked roads and flooded basements..

At this time, light rain continues and if you're out, you'll see telltale signs such as the swelling of Miami Creek by the Butler water plant.

Good news- it's tapering off somewhat although we are still under a Flash Flood Watch through today. Use caution if you're out and about!

Our next chance of rain will be mid week:

Highlights from Butler Promenade
