Two arrested in Eldorado Springs Missouri

On May 25, 2017, officers responded to 311 East US 54 Highway concerning a stolen vehicle. Officers located and recovered a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro stolen from Independence MO.

The investigation resulted in the arrests of Skyler J. Lizar, 33, of Kansas City, MO, charging her with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Dominic M. Bonavia II ,32, of Gladstone, Mo, for a Buchanan

County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear for Two Counts of Forgery, with a bond of $50,000.00 cash only, a Independence Municipal Warrant, charging him with Receiving Stolen Property, ID Theft, and Forgery, with a bond of $5,000.00, and two Cass County Warrants, charging him with Fraud, Impersonation, and Fraud Attempt to Obtain, each with a bond $10,000.00 .

Lizar was released on summonses pending a court appearance. Bonavia was transported to Vernon County Sheriff's Office pending extradition.

Officers seized evidence related to identify thefts, forged identification cards, forgery instruments, drug paraphernalia and approximately 7.2 grams of methamphetamine.

The investigation continues and additional charges are pending.

Obituary - David L. Sidebottom

David Lee Sidebottom, 62, Harrisonville, MO, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. 

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
