Multiple vehicle accident just South of Butler

Officers Stop Vehicle and Discover Driver Has Multiple Warrants
A records check of the driver revealed her driver's license was revoked and the woman had seven warrants for her arrest from other jurisdictions. The woman was arrested and transported to the Cass County Jail.
She was charged in Garden City Municipal Court for driving while revoked and operating a motor vehicle no insurance.

The fire was put out and was said to be in the kitchen above the grill in the grease filters.
We have been informed that the Fishing Dock will be closed for the remainder of the evening. Hopefully they will reopen tomorrow!

1 - Kids will be out playing, so watch your speed and pay attention to the road. Just because there's no crosswalk doesn't mean that kids won't try to cross there.
2 - Be safety conscious about your home. Don't broadcast to the public that you won't be there and make sure when you're out to keep your house locked up. As a reminder, the Harrisonville PD does vacation home checks. The form can be picked up at the PD or you can call it in to Dispatch at 816-380-8940. (Also, if you go somewhere fun we love souvenirs!)
3 - Remember to drink plenty of water and take breaks in warm weather. No need to get a dose of heat-stroke with your summer fun!

The gates open at 9 a.m. and the first act will begin around 11 a.m. The last act should conclude flying around 5 p.m. in the evening.
Spectators may enter through the North/Knob Noster/Arnold Gate, or the South/LeMay Gate. The Spirit/Main Gate will ONLY be available to individuals with current military ID cards.

**Are Saturday and Sunday the same show?
There will be minor differences, but the majority of the show will be similar.
**Who is performing when? Will there be a schedule?
We will not release a schedule. Here's an example of why:
Your favorite performer is slotted for 2 p.m. You plan to get to the air show at 1 p.m. Alas, two acts scheduled to perform prior have mechanical issues and now they've been bumped up and your favorite performer has been bumped back... to noon. You arrive at 1 p.m., having missed them.

We definitely don't want this to happen to you, and with so many moving parts (puns!), our schedule must allow for a vast amount of flexibility; to release a schedule would surely work against your plans.
**What kind of ID do I need to bring?
None, this is an open house event. However, safety and security are our top priority, so we reserve the right to change this at any time; follow our page for the latest updates. Understand that ALL hand-carried items are subject to search, for your protection.
**How much are tickets?
This event is FREE!

**Will there be handicapped parking?
Yes. Additionally, there will be shuttles from the parking area to the show area.
**Are you providing shuttles from Warrnesburg to the show?

More static displays of smaller and older aircraft, cars, vendors, and more!
**What can I bring?
To ensure our top priority of safety and security, this question has a lengthy answer. Please heed the following carefully:
- Knives, explosives, weapons of any kind are strictly forbidden.
- Firearms, stun-guns, mace and/or OC spray, and ammunition are also forbidden. Law-enforcement officers may carry if on official duty.
*Additionally, the following items will not be allowed in the spectator area:
- Backpacks, gym bags, camel packs.
- Coolers, glass bottles, alcoholic beverages.
- Non-prescription medication, illegal drugs, any drug-related paraphernalia.
- Walkie-talkies, GPS units.
- Bicycles, skateboards, roller blades/skates, scooters.
- Pets.
- Canopy and pop-up tents.
**What can I bring inside the spectator area?

Scot Edward Lesmeister, age 46 of Butler, Missouri died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Malta Bend, Missouri. He was born May 19, 1971 to Harold Edward and Beth Baugh Lesmeister in Wells Point, Texas.
Scot is survived by his wife Jennifer Lesmeister of Butler, Missouri; two children, Karson Scot Lesmeister and Gracee Mae Lesmeister, both of the home; his father, Harold Lesmeister and wife Karen of Butler, Missouri; his mother, Beth Baugh of Horton, Kansas; mother-in-law, Wanda Griffith of Butler, Missouri; two brothers, Keith Lesmeister and wife Esther of Little Falls, New York and Jason Greer and siginificant other Stella of Louisburg, Kansas; three sisters, Casey Lesmeister of Horton, Kansas, Amy Ketcher and husband Scott of Adrian, Missouri and Lindsey Lesmeister and friend Katherine Botha of Elko, Nevada; brother-in-law, Jeff Griffith and wife Kathy of Adrian, Missouri; many nephews and nieces, Devyn, Tyler, Sam, Maverick, Skylar, Audrey, Kennidie, Emelia, Abigayle, Isabelle, Lydia, Matt, Zack, Lyla and Gabriel. BCMH Auxiliary Makes $21,000 Donation to Bates County Memorial Hospital

The funds also will be used to update televisions in the patient rooms, patient recliners and wheelchairs, and to purchase a special instrument called a Tonometer to assess trauma to the eye for the Emergency Services Department.
Proceeds from a variety of fundraisers held throughout the year, as well as Gift Shop sales, help to fund their donations.
The hospital thanks our volunteers for their generous donation. Our volunteers are individuals who think of others first and freely give of their time to help make BCMH such a wonderful hospital.
