What: Great Rock Concert to raise money for Wounded Vets. This movement saves lives!

Who: JC ALLSTARS. OPERATION ROCK THE TROOPS. Light up to Live tour. 

When: Friday, July 14th 7:00pm

Where: UNION RESTAURANT, outdoor on the the Square. 

Ticket price: $15. Tickets can be purchased at www.operationrockthetroops.org or at the gate.
All Veterans get free admission. Please RSVP at website. 

Beer Garden will be located in front of Union Restaurant and full bar will be inside of the Union Restaurant. 

Feel free to bring your own chair to sit back, drink a good drink, and enjoy the movie premier, then our opening Country Acoustic act. Following will be our Headliner, the powerful Rock band, JC ALLSTARS!!! The runway show will start during the headliner, JC ALLSTARS.

Dry Weather Returns

Keep an eye out for patchy dense fog reducing visibility to under one mile during the early morning commute. Otherwise, dry weather is here to stay for at least a few days.

Texas man arrested in Vernon County

On 6/4/17 around 12:10am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County arrested 44 year old Antwain L. Tinsley of Spring, Texas.

Mr. Tinsley was arrested for 1.) Driving While Intoxicated.

He was booked into the Vernon County Jail in Nevada, Missouri and is currently listed as bondable.

Obituary - Lorraine E. Peterson

Lorraine Elizabeth Peterson, age 90, of Belton, Missouri passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on June 3, 2017. 

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, Missouri. 

Graveside service will begin at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 8, at Belton Cemetery. 

Contributions may be given to St. Sabina Catholic Church or to Wayside Waifs.

Police searching for wanted subject from St. Clair County

Hickory County Sheriff's office wants to make everyone aware we received information that the two suspects, Jerry Eaton & Shanna Case were at a residents on county road 3 West of Weaubleau. 

The Hickory County Sheriff's office along with St. Clair County Sheriff's office and MSHP responded to the location, foot chase ensued into the woods the male subject.

The female suspect was taken into custody at the residents. Officers searched the wooded area that the male suspect fled into but did not locate him. We want everyone to be on the look out for this suspect. The description we have is blue jeans, unknown shirt.

Two from Joplin injured in Vernon County rollover accident

On 6/3/17 around 1:49pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Route N around 1 mile west of Bronaugh in rural Vernon County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 29 year old Tracy G. Warren of Joplin, Missouri traveled off the left side of the roadway before traveling off thr right side, striking a ditch and overturning.

Two passengers in the vehicle 45 year old Carl M. Reid and 28 year old Jenae R. Warren both of Joplin, Missouri sustained moderate injuries in this accident and both were transported to the hospital by ambulance.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by TCB Towing of Nevada, Missouri.
