Funny Money Floating Around Nevada

In recent weeks Nevada Police sent out information on counterfeit money being passed in the area.

Again today, detectives within the department located more counterfeit money at a residence.

Take a careful look at the three bills posted. All three have the same serial number on them. You can see the ink is faded on the paper, which isn't consistent with genuine currency.

We continue to stress for businesses, and subjects obtaining money from others to look at the money you're being given before the transaction is finalized.

If you have any questions about counterfeit currency please call us at 417-448-5100 and ask to speak to an officer. We will be glad to help!
