Update: Harrisonville woman escapes serious injury in Cass County crash
On 9/5/17 the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a one vehicle accident on I-49 around Mile Marker 155 in rural Cass County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2012 Jeep driven by 69 year old Carol A. Setzer of Harrisonville, Missouri was traveling southbound in the Northbound lane of I-49 and traveled off the roadway and through the median into the southbound lanes of traffic. Driver overcorrected causing the vehicle to travel back into the median and overturn.
Carol A. Setzer sustained moderate injuries in this accident but she refused medical treatment at the scene of the accident.
The Jeep was totaled and towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow.

Nevada Police Seeking Public Assistance
First day on the job for New K9 in Harrisonville
It's our K9's first official day, so I guess you could say we've...let the dogs out (we're so hip with the lingo).
Please welcome K9 Officer Uxo (Pronounced "Ook-so" to the Harrisonville Police Department! They will be partnered with Officer McCulloch. K9 Uxo is a single purpose drug dog.
If you see Officers McCulloch and Uxo out give em a wave, and maybe a pat on McCulloch's head if Uxo says it's ok (Officer McCulloch really likes the area behind his ears scratched just FYI).

Carol Jean Anderson, age 78, formerly of Mound City, Kansas passed away on Monday September 4, 2017.

Kansas man arrested in Bates County
On 9/4/17 around 10:20pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County arrested 22 year old Ismael Cruz-Bursato of Overland Park, Kansas.
Mr. Cruz-Bursato was arrested for 1.) Driving While Intoxicated - Prior Offender 2.) Fail to comply with ignition interlock system 3.) Careless and Imprudent Driving.
He was booked into the Bates County Jail in Butler and placed on a 24 hour detox hold.
