Creatures of the night event a success

87 picnickers met at Poplar Heights Living History Farm for the Creatures of the Nigh event. The kids painted bats.

The Owl Lady brought a Screech Owl and a Barred Owl and presented a fun and educational program that got everyone involved in games and owl calls. Gail introduced Zeus and Athena the king snakes.

We finished up the evening with hayrides thru the now dark farm fields and marshmallows over the bonfire. Thanks to all who came out for such a wonderful evening.
