New Police Officer in Harrisonville




The Harrisonville Police Department would like to welcome newest officer Michael Briggs joined us today.

Officer Briggs comes to us from a long career at KCPD. Prior to that Officer Briggs served in the United States Marine Corps.

Jennifer L. Turner, 57, Harrisonville, Missouri died Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. 

Services are pending at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville and service times and a complete obituary will be updated when they become available.

Rich Hill High School Powder Puff Football


It’s October and that means breast cancer awareness month.  The RHHS FCCLA will once again offer the girls a chance to show their skills with the football in a “Powder Puff Football” game.
  • Game is Oct. 24th @ 6:00 p.m.
  • All proceeds will be donated to a local person affected by breast cancer
  • Juniors and Seniors face Freshmen and Sophomores
  • Admission $2, Kids 5 and under free
  • Shirt orders and money due to Mrs. Stevener by Monday Oct. 9th.
*All shirts will have a hot pink breast cancer awareness ribbon on the sleeve.*
