Starting pay: $10/hr, $12-13/hr once you are fully trained Looking for people-oriented, patient, and caring individuals to work as support staff at a

supported living home for individuals with developmental disabilities. A great way to gain

experience in the fields of psychology, special education and medicine/nursing!

Our individuals are supported 24/7, including weekends and overnight.

During day shifts, you will work with one to three clients at a time, providing them assistance with

completing their daily routines and taking them on outings. Many of our clients are open to new

experiences and may be interested in engaging in activities related to your own interests and

hobbies. Have fun with them, a large part of your job will be ensuring that they have a

fulfilling, meaningful day!

Overnight shifts are typically low-stress, and you will be free to do homework, sleep, watch TV, etc. as

you please as long as you are able to respond to a client’s needs should they wake up in the middle

of the night.

Job Duties:

Data collection utilizing Therap Electronic Documentation

Cooking meals for clients and some light housework

Provide assistance as needed to help our clients perform their daily routines

Teach the clients new skills

Provide transportation to clients using company vehicles

Administer medications to clients at the proper times

Provide assistance with bathing (depending on the client)

Job Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, must be 18+.

Positive Behavior Support and MANDT training preferred but not required (we will pay for this training

for you if you do not have it).

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $10.00 to $13.00 /hour

Update: Three injured in Bates County Rollover Accident

On 11/2/17 around 3:10pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies, Bates County EMS and Butler Fire Department responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on CR NE 1003 (North Main Street) just north of CR NE 6004 in rural Butler.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by 31 year old Martha J. Ramsey of Rich Hill, Missouri lost control over her vehicle and traveled off the east side of the roadway, overturned and struck a telephone pole before coming to rest on its top.

Martha J. Ramsey along with two other passengers in the vehicle 31 year old Alana D. Carpenter of Butler,Missouri and 31 year old Tyler J. McCoy of Webb City, Missouri were all three injured in this accident and all three were transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Gilkey's Tow of Rich Hill, Missouri.

Pursuit ends in Vernon County

Around 3:00pm this afternoon the Vernon County Sheriff's Office ended a police pursuit Northeast of Milo, Missouri and taking 2 subjects into police custody.
