Great Job Butler Casey's General Stores

By collecting donations from our awesome customers at both Butler Casey's General Stores we raised $650 plus had customers bring in gifts.

We took the money and bought gifts for all 46 residents at Serenity Nursing Home.

Each resident will receive 5 gifts to open. With the left over money we were able to send 10 pizzas for the staff to have lunch today.

Merry Christmas!!

Thank you Sheriff Anderson

Thank you Sheriff Anderson for allowing the Bates County Victim Advocate Program the use of the VAN to deliver Christmas gifts to our youngest victims.

Usually this van is used to transport child sex abuse victims to counseling, medical appointments or court hearings. This van is also used to transport victims of domestic violence to safe shelters. Today the VAN is Santa's Sleigh!!

To Amy our Child Advocate and my partner in crime.... your goodies took care of some older kids.... that we still look after!!

Thanks also to St. Patrick Church, their St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Virginia United Methodist Church and the Moulton Trust for making Christmas possible for these deserving children.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!!! And again many thanks!!!!
