From the city of Harrisonville

Here is the latest information on the transition of our trash service --

1. This week, Municipal Waste Services has been emptying trash from all cans, including the old, green cans. We appreciate the fact they have stepped up and gone the extra mile in getting the garbage collected.

2. Starting Monday, January 8, they will only empty garbage from their carts. Be sure you do not use the green carts from now on.

3. If you still have the old green trash cans, please leave them at curbside for pick up. Make sure they are empty! We understand this job was contracted to a third party which will continue the pick up through next Friday, January 12.
