Earlier today, Officers of the Garden City Police Department met with Cass County Prosecutors successfully seeking additional charges against Anthony “Tony” Hall from evidence revealed during their investigation.
Anthony “Tony” S. Hall was charged with an additional count of Child Molestation in the first Degree (Count Two) , Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree (Count Three), Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree (Count Four), Statutory Sodomy - 1st Degree - Deviate Sexual Intercourse With A Person Less Than 14 Yrs Old (Count Five), Statutory Sodomy - 1st Degree - Deviate Sexual Intercourse With A Person Less Than 14 Yrs Old (Count Six).
Anthony Hall remains in custody at the Cass County Jail and is awaiting arraignment on his additional charges later this month. Hall was arrested by the Garden City Police Department in November of last year after an extensive investigation of allegations of child molestation.

Debris is said to be all over and roadway and tracks at this time.
Railroad Crews are in route but still a hour away and the roadway will be closed until then from Orange to Prospect.

Road closed in Butler due to vehicle striking railroad bridge
The Butler Police Department along with Butler Fire Department are on scene of a truck that has struck the railroad bridge on Ft. Scott Street in Butler at this time.
The railroad has been brought into to access the damages and you will need to please find a alternate route around this area as the road is closed at this time.

Winter Weather This Weekend
Wintry weather is expected this weekend, although the timing and type of weather will be different depending where you live.
(Round 1) Snow will develop late this evening and overnight across far northern Missouri, where 1-2 inches of snow will be possible. Light freezing drizzle is expected to develop further south in central Missouri, with a light glaze of ice possible on surfaces and area roadways.
(Break) Look for a break in accumulating winter weather during most of the daylight hours Saturday.
(Round 2) Widespread snow is expected Saturday evening into Sunday morning, with the highest snow totals north of Interstate 70 where 2-3 inches of snow will be possible. Elsewhere, look for average snow totals of 1-2 inches.

Belton Police Department seeking public assistance
This young man's name is Aaron Clary. The Belton MO Police Department would like to have a conversation with this individual regarding some acts of intimidation and indirect threatening of a government employee. This government employee's family and personal life, to include his children, have been affected and we need to put a stop to this behavior immediately.
At this point in time Mr. Clary is only a person of interest in this case, however he does have outstanding warrants and if he wishes to clear his name he should contact the Belton, MO Police Department as soon as possible.
We would appreciate your assistance in locating him as we have yet to make contact with him. If anyone has information about his whereabouts, please contact our department. Vehicles of interest in this case are an older green van or a black Cadillac. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Nevada Police execute search warrant
In the afternoon hours of Thursday, February 8, 2018 Nevada Police executed a search warrant in the 400 block of N. Ash Street in response to reports of illegal drug activity at that location.
Officers had developed information regarding a known male subject at that location that had reportedly been involved in illegal drug activity.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with multiple subjects on the property. During the initial contact two known subjects attempted to flee from officers but were unsuccessful as officers had established a perimeter.
Three male subjects were detained by Nevada Police during the initial contact. During the search of the property officers located stolen property from recent thefts in rural Vernon County.
Nevada Police are attempting to identify additional owners of property believed to have been stolen that was located at the residence.
Nevada Police also seized a large amount of suspected illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. Suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and prescription medication identified as controlled substances were located amongst the subjects.
The suspected drug evidence seized is being sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab for further analysis.
All three subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Vernon County Jail for holding by Nevada Police. The three subjects were identified as follows:
Travis E. Wolf, age of 39 of Nevada
Micah C. O’Connell, age 31 of Sheldon
Allen L. Foulk, age 39 of Sheldon
On February 9, 2018, the following charges were filed against Travis Wolf through the Vernon County Associate Court:
Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Class C Felony
Possession of a Controlled Substance - Class D Felony
Receiving Stolen Property – Class A Misdemeanor
Wolf is being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $20,000 cash only bond.
On February 9, 2018 the following charges were filed against Micah O’Connell through the Vernon County Associate Court:
Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Class C Felony
Possession of a Controlled Substance - Class D Felony
O’Connell is being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 cash only bond.
On February 9, 2018 the following charges were filed against Allen Foulk through the Vernon County Associate Court:
Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Class E Felony
Possession of a Controlled Substance - Class D Felony
Foulk is being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $15,000 cash only bond.

Obituary - Lysle Ison
Funeral services for Lysle Ison will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri.
Lysle Ison, age 80 of Butler, Missouri died Friday, February 9, 2018 at Medicalodge Nursing Center in Butler. He was born August 5, 1937 to Robert and Anna Walters Ison in Butler.
Lysle is survived by his cousins, Kenney Ison of Raymore, Missouri, Roy Ison and wife Linda of Independence, Missouri and Clara “Tommie” Ison of Raymore, Missouri; special friend, Anna Brown of Butler, Missouri; and many extended family member. He was preceded in death by his parents.
