The Cass County Sheriff's Office along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County just concluded a police pursuit with a stolen vehicle near the area of 335th Street past Hartwell Road in rural Cass County.
One suspect is in police custody at this time and no one was injured in this pursuit.

Arthur Lee Kocurek, 70, Nevada, MO passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.

On 3/29/18 around 11:45pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County arrested 33 year old Jeffrey S. Stephens of Rockville, Missouri.
Mr. Stephens was arrested for 1.) Felony Unlawful Use of a Firearm 2.) Felony Theft of a Firearm 3.) Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana 4.) Unlawful use of Drug Paraphernalia 5.) Failure to display valid plates 6.) No Insurance.
He was booked into the Henry County Jail in Clinton, Missouri and he is currently listed as bondable.

On 3/28/18 around 10:16am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County arrested 51 year old David A.Thorns of Nevada, Missouri.
Mr. Thorns was arrested for 1.) Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance 2.) Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana 3.) Unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
He was booked into the Cass County Jail in Harrisonville and is currently placed as bondable.

Friday, March 30th is the celebration of National Doctor’s Day in the United States. National Doctor’s Day was designated by the Congress and the proclamation was signed and designated on March 30, 1991 by President George Bush.
The proclamation further stated that Americans are encouraged to observe the day with appropriate programs and activities.
Wednesday, March 30th is a time to set aside to honor the doctors in the Bates County area for their commitment to quality healthcare and to recognize society owes a debt of gratitude for their contributions as physicians. We also recognize the sympathy and compassion shown by physicians in ministering to the sick and alleviating human suffering.
