What a great community we live in!
Caseys along with the support of our amazing community has donated $400.00 to the Bates County Youth Center to help sponsor the pool pals this summer.

Christopher “Chris” Lee Moore, 31, Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, April 29, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Archie, MO with visitation from 1:00-2:30. Burial to follow in Austin Cemetery, Archie.

Everyone's invites to Come join veteran cheerleaders( and may be some special guest) in learning basic jump, tumbling, and stunt skills as well as some pretty ROCKIN choreography!! On the last day of camp we will have a performance by ALL camp participants in their age groups, as well as a performance by BC XTREMES performance team!

Camp begins June 12th runs to June 16th Times will be from 530 to 7 pm, but could be changed due to number of sign ups. ( Do not worry it won't be by much
😉). On the LAST day of camp BC XTREME will host the camp performance as well as their annual hotdog feed!
So, If you are unsure of cheer or just want to try something new come out a support our team! Everyone is WELCOME !

Search Warrant served in Nevada
We had a heavy police presence in the 400 block of N. Ash St. moments ago.
Nevada Police were serving a narcotic search warrant where three people were taken into custody.

Harrisonville Citywide Clean Up Set for May 11th & 12th
The 2018 Citywide Clean Up event is coming up on Friday and Saturday, May 11 and 12, at a new location, 2606 Rockhaven Road, near Cass Regional Medical Center. Times are 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Items which will be accepted for drop off include appliances which do not use Freon, discarded metal items, trash, scrap lumber, water heaters, furniture, and light construction debris. Items that cannot be accepted include tires, auto batteries, motor oil, hazardous chemicals, paint, roofing shingles, yard waste, or any appliances which contain Freon, such as air conditioners and refrigerators.
City employees will be on hand to check proof of residency and help unload items. Proof of residency within the city limits is required to participate in this drop off.
Since this is our first event with our new trash hauler, Municipal Waste Services, please note the new drop off location, 2606 Rockhaven Road, which is near Cass Regional Medical Center.

Two vehicle accident in Vernon County
On 4/30/18 around 3:22pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County responded to a two vehicle accident in the southbound lanes of I-49 around 6 miles south of Rich Hill.
The Missouri State Highway says the accident occurred when the 2016 Kia Sedona driven by 60 year old Carmine F. Fipps of Independence, Missouri was stopped in the driving lane of I-49 when it was struck in the left rear corner by a 2016 Peterbilt 579 driven by 27 year old Noah A. Hamilton of Melrose, Iowa.
Mr. Fipps sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Garwood's Wrecker Service of Nevada, Missouri.
