Edith (Oades-Black) Snedeker, Hume, passed away Tuesday, June 5, at the home of a daughter at the age of 78.

Arrangements are under direction of the Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill, and visitation is scheduled between 6-7pm Thursday evening, June 7th, at the funeral home. Burial in the Scott Cemetery is to be scheduled later.

Memorials to an Edith Snedeker Fund are suggested and can be made in care of Heuser Funeral Home.

Thomas A. Livengood, Jr., age 78 of Hutchinson, Kansas passed away Wednesday, May 30. He was a 1957 graduate of Rich Hill High School

Funeral Arrangements are under direction of Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill, and a graveside service is scheduled Saturday afternoon, June 9, in the Green Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled between 1-2pm Saturday afternoon, June 9, at Heuser Funeral Home.

Obituary - Angela Marie Shivers

Angela Shivers, age 49 of Brownington, Missouri passed away Friday, June 1st, 2018 at her home. Angela's wishes were to be cremated with no services at this time.

Angela was preceded in death by her mother Jolynn, a sister, Andrea Ange and an infant brother, Carl Sayers.

Angela is survived by Gary Corum of the home, father, Jack (Carolyn) Sayers of Minnesota, mother-in-law, Helen Corum of Deepwater, step sons, Eric Burrhop of Independence and Justin Corum of Grandview, step brothers, Austen Mooris and Trevor Mooris both of Minnesota, sister, Alicia Hall of Saco, Maine and grandchildren, Taylor Tyler and McKenize.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.

Yesterday Amsterdam lost a wonderful lady. Our 2017 Amsterdam Jubilee Grand Marshal Sue Erickson.

Sue was always quick to help out, She was a staple for many years, calling and getting donations for the country store.

You could count on her when you couldn't count on anyone else. She was a sweet, soft spoken woman and when she laughed she laughed with her entire body.

I will miss her. I know others will too. I was honored to know her. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Erickson family ---DeAnna Hutton

Eldorado Springs teen injured in Vernon County Crash

On 6/5/18 around 4:00pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on CR 2900 around 5 miles SW of Eldorado Springs, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1997 Toyota Corolla driven by 17 year old Gavin T. Mooney of El Dorado Springs, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

A passenger in the vehicle 17 year old Thomas S. Higbie of El Dorado Springs, Missouri sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by private vehicle to Cedar County Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by the owner.
