From the Belton Police Department

On 06-16-2018 Belton officers responded to a shoplift call at Marshall's in Belton. The suspect fled the scene in a silver smaller suv, possibly a Ford Edge or similar vehicle with a MO dealer plate attached. As he fled the scene he struck a patrol car and then failed to yield when an officer gave chase.

The suspect has distinct tattoos on his arms. The suspect had a black American flag tattoo on the upper back of his left arm and a white Fleur-de-lis tattoo on the upper back of right arm. While in the store he appeared to walk with a limp and carried a dark blue or black cane, however upon seeing officers the limp seemed to disappear.

Please call the Belton Police Department at (816) 331-1500 or the TIPS hotline (474-TIPS) with information.
