Softball coach charged with sex crimes in Henry County

On 7/31/18 around 8:10pm the Henry County Sheriff's Office arrested 43 year old Christopher A. Hidy of Windsor, Missouri.

Mr. Hidy was arrested several counts of sexual conduct against three young girls whom he had recently coached on a softball team.

Mr. Hidy was charged with 1.)First Degree Statutory Sodomy(X3) 2.)First Degree Child Molestation(X2) 3.)Tampering with a victim.

He was booked into the Henry County Jail and placed on a $100,000 Cash/Surety.

Missing Harrisonville man found safe

State of Missouri CANCELLED Endangered SILVER Advisory

The Harrisonville Police Department has CANCELLED an Endangered SILVER Advisory for a missing adult incident that occurred at 2203 E. Mechanic St, Harrisonville, MO at 9 PM on August 1, 2018.

The endangered SILVER advisory missing adult is:
Douglas Stuart Miller, a white male, age 70, hgt 5 feet 10 inches, 155 lbs, bald, hazel eyes, tan complexion, wearing a beige and teal Hawaiian shirt with beige shorts. 

Diagnosed Medical Condition(s):  Dementia and bi-polar

Brief circumstances regarding the Endangered Silver Person incident: 

Miller was located safe.

Urich teen injured in Benton County Crash

On 8/1/18 around 6:30pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Benton County responded to a one vehicle accident on Highway BB just east of Allen Road in rural Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2001 Dodge driven by 21 year old Nicholas D. Caldwell of Urich, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway, over corrected and traveled back across the roadway and off the left side hitting a ditch.

A passenger in the vehicle 19 year old Thomas E. Kirk of Urich, Missouri sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri for treatment.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Tolliver's Towing.

Stockton man killed in Cedar County Fatality Accident

On 8/1/18 around 12:00pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cedar County along with Cedar County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle fatality accident on route N around 7 miles north of Stockton, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2008 Dodge 3500 driven by 56 year old Gary L Cooper of Stockton, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway, driver overcorrected and traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

Mr. Cooper was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and he was transported to Bland-Brumback Funeral Home in Stockton, Missouri.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Mike's Tow of Stockton, Missouri.

This is Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 67th Fatality Accident of 2018.

Harrisonville man arrested after one vehicle crash in Cass County

On 7/31/18 around 10:30pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on B Highway just west of E 347th Street in rural Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2001 Isuzu driven by 34 year old Dane M. Onnen of Harrisonville, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned.

Mr. Onnen sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.

Dane M. Onnen was charged with 1.) Driving while Intoxicated 2.) Failure to maintain right half of the roadway 3.)Driving while suspended.

He was released to seek medical treatment for his injuries.
