Jordan D. Banks
Jordan D. Banks, age 13, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Children’s Mercy Medical Center.

A Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow on September 5, 2018 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 West Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri. After the Funeral Service a Burial will be held at the Peculiar Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri.

A Memorial Contribution may be given to the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Children’s Mercy, 2502 Cherry St. Kansas City, Missouri 64108. (http://www.rmhckc.org).

Obituary - Charles Elmer Hargrove

Charles Elmer Hargrove, 89, of Nevada, MO passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Big Spring Care Center in Humansville, MO. Charles was born March 13, 1929 in Dederick, MO to Charles and Bertha (Hawkins) Hargrove. He married Patricia Joan Evans and she survives of the home.

Charles was born and raised in Dederick and attended Nevada Schools. He worked for Kansas City Power and Light, retiring in 1983 after 35 years with the company. Charles moved to Nevada in 1986 and has resided here since that time. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States.

In addition to his wife, Patricia, survivors include: one son Terry Hargrove of Osceola, MO; three grandchildren, Tami Thomas of Deerfield, Jon Hargrove (Jessica) of Archie, and James Hargrove (Amanda) of Milo; twelve great-grandchildren, Heather Thomas, Taylor Dilly, Colton Thomas, Shane Hargrove, Jonna Hargrove, Alta Hargrove, Pete Hargrove, Leea Hargrove, Alexis Jacobs, Kinlee Ihde, Cameron Hargrove, and Dillon Hargrove; three great-great-grandchildren: Abigail, Teddy, and Isabell. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Gayle Hargrove and ten siblings.



Obituary - Angela Kay “Angi” Ellifrits

Angela Kay “Angi” Ellifrits, 53, of Nevada, MO passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada completing her battle with ALS. Angi was born August 11, 1965 in Ft Scott, KS to Ronald and Carolyn (Hurd) Jones. She was united in marriage to Raymond Ellifrits on August 1, 1986 in Nevada, MO and he survives of the home.

Angi was raised in Ft. Scott and the Nevada area. She was a homemaker, but also worked as a cook and waitress at numerous area restaurants. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Angi also enjoyed shopping, camping, fishing, and going to concerts.

In addition to her husband, Raymond, she is survived by six children. Holly Hallam (Corey) of Nevada, Amy Williams (Jeffrey) of Nevada, James Stanhope, II of South Carolina, Beth Jenkins (Tex) of Keenesburg, CO, Kody Ellifrits of Nevada, and Kory Ellifrits of Nevada; sixteen grandchildren; her parents, Standlee and Carolyn Hill of Milo, MO; five brothers: Gary Jones of Nevada, Doug Jones of Nevada, Lavern Hill of Nevada, Marty Hill of Milo, and Tracy Hill of Milo; numerous nieces and nephews. Angi was preceeded in death by one grandson, Jacob Floyd Ellifrits, and her father, Ronald Marion Jones.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Chad Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday evening, September 3rd at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Boyce Dean Ackerman of Independence, Missouri will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri.

Boyce Dean Ackerman, age 66 of Independence, Missouri, formerly of Ruskin Heights, died Friday, August 31, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospice in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born February 28, 1952 to Oscar Martin and Mary-Anne Smith Ackerman in Hastings, Nebraska.

Boyce is survived by a son, Travis Ackerman of Independence, Missouri; two brothers, Brice Ackerman and wife Diana of Olathe, Kansas and Bert Ackerman and wife Wanda of Billings, Missouri; companion, Debbie Edmondson of Lee's Summit, Missouri; stepdaughter, Suzy Green and husband Kevin of St. Joseph, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Josie Green and Maddox Green. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bruce Ackerman.

Donald "Don" Dean Fenton, 78, Harrisonville, MO, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at his home. 

 A celebration gathering will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.
