Shooting in Osceola

On Sept. 7, 2018, at approximately 7:20 a.m., St. Clair County deputies were dispatched to the “Port” convenience store for a report of shots fired.

Deputies arrived on scene and found two male subjects lying on the ground, unresponsive, with gunshot wounds. An ambulance crew was requested by the first deputy on scene. Other deputies arrived and secured the area. The ambulance crew arrived and advised both subjects were deceased.

This incident appears to be a murder/suicide. The incident has been handed over to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

This is an isolated incident and there in no further danger to the public.
