The Pleasant Hill Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a missing person.
45 year old Jacob Travis is missing from his home in the 1200 block of Broadway in Pleasant Hill, MO.
Travis was seen at Casey’s General Store in Pleasant Hill around 10am on September 16, 2018.
Travis was last seen in the afternoon on September 16, 2018 in the area of his home.
Family is concerned for his well-being. He is on medication and does suffer from memory loss and can become confused easily.

Three juveniles injured in Cedar County Crash
On 9/17/18 around 5:30pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cedar County responded to a one vehicle accident on CR1425 around 5 miles north of Stockton, Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2000 Ford Taurus driven by 17 year old Marty P. Aucoin of Eldorado Springs, Missouri was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and ran off the left side of the roadway, striking trees and a building before overturning.
Three juveniles in the vehicle all sustained serious injuries:
Marty P Aucoin and 14 year old Kaylen Mings of Stockton, Missoiuri both were transported by Air Ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for treatment.
Another passenger in the vehicle 9 year old Ryan Finch of Stockton was transported by ambulance to Citizen's Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Mike's Wrecker Service of Stockton, Missouri.

Obituary - Rex Goodman
Rex Goodman, 97, Nevada, formerly of Schell City passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Nevada following a period of illness. Rex was born March 28, 1921 in rural Schell City, the son of Orvy and Gracie (Towne) Goodman. Rex attended the Towne Country School and at a young age worked on his family farm which provided vegetables to Schell City.
The family also grew and processed sorghum. Rex also artificially inseminated dairy cattle in the surrounding area. Shortly after marrying Georgia Fern Towne he enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. He was stationed in Hawaii where he dropped targets from an airplane so training fighter pilots could shoot at them for practice.
Following his honorable discharge Rex returned to Schell City where he bought his own farm and raised dairy cattle, stock cattle, hogs and grew a large garden. Rex was married to Georgia Fern Towne, later Joan (Hensley) Salkil and then Louise (Spencer) Wilson.
After farming Rex worked various occupations before owning and operating laundromats for a number of years. Rex always enjoyed having a large garden, an orchard and plowing garden spaces for his friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family, keeping up with the St Louis Cardinals and NASCAR racing. Rex was saved in the Flat Rock Baptist Church, later baptized in Calvary Baptist Church where he was a member.
Recently Rex attended the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Rex was preceded in death by; two brothers, Ervin W. Goodman and Thomas (Jack) Goodman; sister, Thelma Mann and granddaughter, Heather Robinson. Survivors include children; James R. Goodman (Sharon) of Schell City, Betty F. Miles of Raytown, MO, Robert A. Goodman (Valerie) of Kearney MO, Rebecca Bogle of Nevada, Patrick Shawn Goodman (Bobbi) of Baxter Springs, KS; grandchildren, Sharie Goodman, Quentin Goodman, Jared Goodman, Kristen Pierson, Amanda Goodfellow, Martin Miles, Shane Miles, Tammy Budd, Colleen Woodward, and Brandon Goodman; twenty great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews extended family and special friends.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 in the First Christian Church in Schell City with Pastor Terry Mosher officiating. Interment with Military Services will follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery, Schell City. Mr. Goodman will lie in state Wednesday and Thursday in the Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home in Schell City from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. for friends and family to view and sign the guest register. The family will greet friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be made to “Fair Haven Park” in care of Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home in Schell City.
