Almost moving time!

Great news ! It’s finally time to move Summit School. All the site preparation has been completed. A space in the tree line has been cleared to let the school pass thru from the farm field to its final location. A gravel road has been spread so the vehicles won’t get stuck.

The exact location was determined and Koehn Construction cleared the site, excavated and poured the footing for the block foundation.

Coordinating with the moving company, the week of October 28th is now set for the move – weather permitting. We’ll update as soon as we have an exact date for the move so you can come out and watch the school travel down the highway.

A tremendous and grateful thanks to all who made donations to get us this far. We couldn’t have done it without your help. - Courtesy of Poplar Heights Living History Farm
