From the Linn County Emergency Management
The Marais des Cygne River at La Cygne has crested and is now falling as seen in the first photo. It appears it will take two to three days for the water to recede.
The second photo shows the river status at State Line Road (Note: Graph says Trading Post but gage is at State Line Bridge). This forecast graphic shows the river has not yet crested along State Line and is forecast to continue to rise over the next 24 hours. It may rise an additional 3/4 foot before cresting. It to shows taking an added two to three days to recede once it crests.
The third photo shows the weekend forecast which is mostly cold and rainy. Temps in the 40's-50's with rain off and on this afternoon and again Saturday afternoon/evening into most of the day Sunday. Looks to be a cold/wet weekend with Saturday morning being the best weather for the weekend.
