Kansas City man arrested in Bates County

On 10/14/18 around 10:02pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County arrested 30 year old Kenneth W. Thomas of Kansas City, Missouri.

Mr. Thomas was arrested for 1.) Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance - THC Wax 2.) Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance 3.) Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 4.) Driving While Suspended/Revoked.

Kenneth W. Thomas was booked into the Bates County Jail in Butler and later released.

Osceola man arrested on warrant in Henry County

On 10/13/18 around 3:44pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County arrested 30 year old Justin M. Purinton of Osceola, Missouri.

Mr. Purinton was arrested on 1.) Saline County Sheriff's Office Warrant  - Failure to appear in court original charge - Driving While Revoked.

He was booked into the Henry County Jail and listed as bondcable.

Obituary - Richard Ayler

Richard Ayler, 90, Garden City, Missouri departed this life on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Crown Care Center, Harrisonville, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ayler of the home; 6 sons, John (Jackie) Ayler, Eudora, Kansas, Bob (Tammy) Ayler, Holden, Missouri, Jerry (Sharon) Ayler, Garden City, Missouri, Steve Ayler, Urich, Missouri, Frank (Maureen) Ayler and Dennis (Sandy) Ayler all of Creighton, Missouri; a daughter, Kathy (Victor) Mueller, Creighton, Missouri; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the Heart Of Life Church, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Elm Spring Cemetery, Elm, Missouri.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the church.

Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Crossroads Hospice.
