Texas man injured in Bates County Crash near Adrian

On 10/28/18 around 7:30pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies and Adrian Police responded to a one vehicle accident at Missouri 18 Highway and I-49 near Adrian.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2008 Toyota driven by 39 year old Sal J. Hernandez-Covarrubias of Irving, Texas failed to make the turn onto I-49 and struck a guard rail before coming to rest.

The driver was transported by Bates County EMS to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The vehicle was left and secured at the scene of the crash.

Search Warrant Leads to arrest and drug charges in El Dorado.



10/25/2018 The Cedar County Sheriff's Office, CNET Drug Task Force, El Dorado Springs Police Department, and the Vernon County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant in Pacetown South of El Dorado Springs.

The seach warrant was for the apprehension of Matthew R. Garry which had (6) active warrants for: 4x Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Probation Violation for Receiving Stolen Property,Probation Vioation forDistribution of Contolled Substance Near Public Housing, and for the search and seizure of illegal narcotcs.

Matthew R. Garry of El Dorado was arrested on all (6) active felony warrants.

On 10/25/2018 the 28th District Court issued the following warrants for Wyatt Keith, Sue Tipton and Kristie Joplin. All three were arrested on scene as a result of the search warrant serviced in Pacetown.

Wyatt Michael Alan Keith of El Dorado: Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Controlled Substance.

Sue Tipton of El Dorado: Hindering Prosecution of a felony, and Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia.

Kristie R Joplin of El Dorado: Hindering Prosecution of a Felony.
