Growing Season Coming to a end

Much colder weather is on the way for late this week and this weekend as a cold Canadian air mass becomes established over the region.

As this air mass begins to arrive on Thursday night, light rain may change to light snow with some very light slushy accumulation possible on grassy surfaces.

Temperatures Friday night are expected to dip into the lower and middle 20s which will effectively end the growing season for all of the Missouri Ozarks and southeastern Kansas.
