Obituary - Henry G. Bradley

Henry G. Bradley, age 70, Hume, Missouri passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Olathe Medical Center. He was born on July 29, 1948 the son of Dale and Helen Kleitz Bradley. Henry proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a welder for United Bakery Equipment. 

He was a member of the Hume Baptist Church, Hume Fair Board and the Hume Volunteer Fire Department. Henry always put his family first, especially his grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Lloyd Bradley; three sisters; Mary Ann Tennis, Sally Sumner and Lois Wisdom, and two nephews, Jacob Bradley and Daniel McCulley. Henry is survived by a daughter, Nicole Bradley and Shawn, six brothers: Harley, Byron, Edward, Marty, Rudy and Chuck Bradley; four sisters: Margie Charley, Barbara Brown, Donna McCulley and Cynthia Cole; and two grandson; Issac and Noah Bailey.

Funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasnton Chapel. Burial in the Centerville Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held from 12:30 until service time. Contributions are suggested to the Issac and Noah Bailey-Bradley Scholarship Fund, c/o Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, P.O. Stolen Vehicle in Osceola area

St. Clair County Sheriff's Office is investigating the recent theft of a car at a home in the Osceola area.

Sheriff Scott Keeler says Jeremy Bendt reported the theft of his white, 2015-model Chevy Impala from his driveway Friday. 

The Sheriff adds Henry County authorities told his officers later in the day Friday the car had been found at the Otter Creek boat access area and it had been burned.

Anyone with information about the car theft is encouraged to call the St. Clair County Sheriff's tips line at 417-646-5832.




Obituary - Charles "Chuck" F. Morrison Jr.

Charles "Chuck" F. Morrison Jr., 84, Peculiar, MO departed this life on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Morrison of the home; two sons, Rick Morrison and wife, Tana, Garden City, Missouri, Steve Morrison and wife Stephanie, Raymore, Missouri; two daughters, Jackie Garcia and husband Jorge, Peculiar, Missouri, Lora Kurzweil and husband Chris, Harrisonville, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Sarah, Patrick, Lindsey and Kelsey; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Peculiar Cemetery, Peculiar, Missouri.

Family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m.

Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Memorial Fund.





Boot Block this Saturday

The Bates County Boot Blockers will be doing a boot block this Saturday December 8th  at the 4 way stop in Adrian and Passiac starting at 8am. 

The blockers will be raising money for 5 local families who need some help with Christmas this year.


Anything will help,so be sure when you see these dedicated group of volunteers you give what you can!
