The 1993 Chevrolet truck that was stolen from a address in Butler this morning has been recovered in Rich Hill by Bates County Sheriff's Deputies.

James L. McCaslin, 81, Harrisonville, MO, died Friday, February 22, 2019 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Harrisonville United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends 2:00-3:00pm at the church on Saturday. A complete obituary will be posted when that information becomes available.
On 2-26-19, the Belton Police Department arrested a second subject in regard to the homicide of Mason Teel. The subject is a 20 year old man from Grandview Missouri.
The Belton Police are presenting the case to the Cass County Prosecutor’s Office for review and charges.
Further information on the subject will not be released until such time that formal charges are filed.
Carol Yvonne George, 83, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Monday, February 25, 2019 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville.
Services are pending at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.

Helen Yoachum, 103 of Butler, Missouri passed away February 25, 2019 at Butler Center Nursing Home in Butler. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Monday, March 4, 2019 at All Saints Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kansas.
Private family burial will follow in Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. A visitation will be held prior to the Mass from 9:30 am to 10:00 am, also at the church. Services under the direction of Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler (660-679-0009). Memorial contributions may be made, in lieu of flowers, to All Saints Catholic Church. Helen Charlene Yoachum was born March 11, 1915 in Buffalo, New York to Michael and Pauline Musial Dziedzie. She was united in marriage to Harry Yoachum on April 11, 1947. Together they owned and operated a hunting and fishing camp in Perrault Falls, Ontario for many years. Helen loved the outdoors and very much enjoyed gardening during the summer months. She also dearly loved her family and looked forward to each of their visits. She was especially close to her sister Frances, who in the later years she would take many trips with.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry in 1970, and by her siblings, Frances Nastav, Pauline Swafford, Walter Getz, Frank Dziedzie, and step-brother Ray Wieliczka. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
