From the Linn County Kansas Sheriff's Office

Update 5/11/2019 1095 is closed south of 152. DO NOT REMOVE BARRICADES. We had several persons this morning push barricades to the side and went through the water. The barricades are put there for two reasons. First keep people safe.

Second to keep the road from breaking up. When a road is flooded, the asphalt/road bed is also flooded and can't carry the load the same way.

During the course of my duties, I have walked on roads that the asphalt is squishing with vertical up and down as a person walks on it let alone a vehicle. Please be safe.
