Obituary - Patricia Ann (Ginn) Goolsby
Patricia Ann Goolsby, 77, Nevada, MO passed from this life on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at her home in Nevada. Patricia was born February 13, 1942 in White Springs, FL to Melvin and Mellie Dixon (Johns) Ginn. She was united in marriage to Jerald R. Goolsby in December of 1970 and he survives of the home.
Patricia was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene in Nevada.
In addition to her husband Jerald she is survived by two sons, Richard Larry Goolsby and his wife Dana (Carlson) Goolsby, Nevada, MO, and Donald Goolsby, St. Cloud, FL; three grandchildren, Ashley Goolsby, Derek Goolsby, and Justin Goolsby, all of Nevada; one sister, Sybil Donaldson, Roselle, IL; two brothers, Melvin Ginn and his wife Elaine, Dothan, Alabama, Robert Ginn, Jacksonville, FL; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Church of the Nazarene in Nevada. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park in Nevada.The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Friends may call after 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
Those who wish may plant a tree in her memory.

Complete destruction near Golden City MO
Forecasters put Bates County in the center of the bullseye for storms this week, unfortunately our neighbors to the south saw the brunt of it.
This was the home of 86-year-old Gene Harris and his 83-year-old wife, Opal. They were killed by the tornado that hit near Golden City, MO Wednesday night.
Devastation was not only limited to their farm, but spread from just northwest of Joplin into Jefferson City, where heavy damage was reported. Storms and more rain are forecast for the next 4-5 days as well.

Obituary - Rex Keith Smith
Rex Smith, 61, Clinton, Missouri passed to his heavenly home on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at his home in Clinton. Graveside Cremation Inurnment will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Englewood Cemetery.

Rex was born in Clinton, Missouri the son of Glen Smith Jr. and Lennie Ann (Plumlee) Smith He was an automotive mechanic owning his own business, A&J Motors in Parker, Kansas where he also was a volunteer fireman and EMT. He loved to spend time with his grandkids camping and fishing. He coached baseball. He served on the Clinton School Board 2000-2003. He enjoyed taking care of his chickens and goats.
He is survived by his wife Doris (Goth) Smith; daughter Linsey Ashlock of Shawnee, KS.; sons, Andrew and Jarred; grandchildren, Alexis, Aaron, Bryndle; brother, Tony (Diana) Smith of Clinton; sisters, Brenda (Lowell) Church of Fountain, CO. and Joyce (Mike) Eager of Belton.
Family would like to thank Twin Lakes Hospice for their kind and loving care.
