Rockville man injured in St. Clair County rollover accident
On 7/30/19 around 6:34am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Clair County responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Route P around 4 miles south of Appleton City.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 72 year old James E. Wood of Rockville, Missouri traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
Mr. Wood sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported to Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and tow from the scene of the accident my Bulldog Tow of Appleton City, Missouri.

Windsor teen injured in Henry County crash
On 7/29/19 around 11:20pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County along with Henry County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Missouri 52 Highway at AC Highway in rural Henry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1997 Dodge Dakota driven by 16 year old Patricia S. Hickey of Windsor, Missouri traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Patricia S. Hickey sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton for treatment.

Online fundraiser supports BHS Library
The Butler High School Library is holding an online Titlewish fundraiser starting on Aug. 1 and ending on Aug. 31. Fully 100 percent of the money this program raises will go directly to purchasing new materials for the school library.
The goal for this fundraising program is $1,500. This money will be used to purchase new library books in the areas of science and technology, as well as new award-nominated fiction, and interactive e-books to support various academic units in literature and history.
