Obituary - Stacy L. Bayers
Stacy L. Bayers age 44 of Raymore, MO passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 surrounded by family.
Stacy was born to parents Martha (Eyre) Hurst and Mark Hill on December 11, 1974, she attended Grandview High School and completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Phoenix; spending the majority of her career at American Trailer & Storage in Kansas City, MO.
Stacy married the love of her life, Mike Bayers, on July 1, 1995. From this union came three beautiful children, Meghan Elysabeth, Morgan Nicole and Kade Michael. Stacy’s life was quickly consumed with dance recitals, soccer games, football games and any other activity the kids managed to talk her into. Most recently adding “sorority mom” to her long list of achievements. In her “spare time” she devoted time training and fundraising to running marathons with her closest friends.

Some of her favorite past times were also spent at Arrowhead Stadium with her favorite Chiefs fan, Mike. They recently renewed their season tickets after a short lapse, and were looking forward to cheering on their hometown team in 2019.
Stacy was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer in 2018, and shortly after diagnosis received open heart surgery due to secondary complications. She fought a long, valiant battle, and in times of extreme discomfort reminded us all to “be brave.” Her fight, spirit and love will live on in not only those that were closest to her, but others who are impacted by this terrible disease.
Stacy is survived by her husband, Mike Bayers, children Meghan, Morgan and Kade of Raymore, MO. Grandmother, Donna Hurst, of Lee’s Summit, MO. Mother, Martha Hurst, of Raymore, MO. Paternal Father, Mark Hill of Kansas City, MO. Parents In-Law, Denny and Becky Bayers of Hermitage, MO. Brother, Toby Hurst, and husband John Fuchs of Kansas City, MO. She is preceded in death by step father of 38 years, Mark Hurst. Grandfather, William Hurst. Grandparents, Jack and Theresa Eyre. Grandparents, Burnie and Maryann Hill.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 16th at 1:00 pm at Legacy Christian Church at 2150 E. Langsford Road, Lee’s Summit, MO. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at Centerview at 227 Municipal Circle, Raymore, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Bayers Children Education Fund (payable to Mike Bayers.)

Obituary - Larry Gene Israel
Larry Gene Israel of Harrisonville, Missouri was born June 26, 1936 in Louisburg, Missouri the son of Cleo and Beatrice (Ford) Israel. He departed this life Monday, August 12, 2019 at Meadowview of Harrisonville Health and Rehabilitation at the age of 83 years, 1 month and 17 days.
On Decembeer 26, 1979, Larry was united in marriage to Teresia Diana Farthing in Miami, Oklahoma.
Larry was employed as a machinist for Honeywell in Kansas City, Missouri until his retirement in 1987. He was an Air Force veteran.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Donald Lewis.
Larry is survived by his wife Teresia Israel of the home; a son, Richard Dale Israel, Lee's Summit, Missouri; a daughter, Karen Kissinger and husband Pat, Smithville, Missouri; a step-son, Michael Lewis and wife Shannon, Omaha, Nebraska; a granddaughter, Jennifer Kissinger; two step-grandchildren, Brandon and Brittney Lewis; a sister, Imogene Grandstaff, Brichtree, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Cremation. No services scheduled at this time.
Services are under the care of Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.

Two injured in Vernon County Crash

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2013 Ford Escape driven by 34 year old Charles L. Croan of Walker, Missouri was attempting to make a left hand turn and was struck in the rear by a 1996 Cadillac Deville driven by 26 year old Isaiah W. Miller of Holstein, Iowa. After impact the Ford Escape over turned.
Mr. Croan sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by air ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri for treatment.
Mr. Miller sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by Vernon County EMS to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Both vehicle were totaled and towed from the scene of the accident by TCB Tow and Phillips Towing both of Nevada, Missouri.

Update on missing person in Cass County
Update: Cass Co – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has concluded a search of property in rural Cass County related to the missing person, Silvia Pearson.
Nothing was located within the search area. The investigation continues by the Overland Park Police Department.

Nothing was located within the search area. The investigation continues by the Overland Park Police Department.

Donna Beryl Stroud, 93, Harrisonville, Missouri formerly of Pleasant Hill, Missouri departed this life on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Crown Care Center, Harrisonville.
