What a week it has been in the Adrian Blackhawk vocal department! Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday we had musical auditions before and after school. 

We had about 40 amazing auditions for Shrek Jr.! We cannot wait to get started on the show!!

Acahawks had their first-ever picnic at the park Thursday evening! Following dinner was a game of beach volleyball that brought out some friendly competition. What a great way to begin the year! 💛

Buddie Hershel Staton, age 88, Pleasanton, Kansas passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at his home.

Funeral services are pending at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel.

Belton Police Seeking Public Assistance

The Belton Police and the Metro Squad are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a person of interest from the homicide which occurred on 9-4-19. Investigators are attempting to locate Alea “Theo” Campbell. 

Miss Campbell in an 18 year old female, 4 feet 8 inches tall, 80 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Miss Campbell is asked to call the Belton Police at 816-331-5522 or the Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.

Bates County Memorial Hospital announces the expansion of its Specialty Clinics

It is with great pleasure that Bates County Memorial Hospital announces the expansion of its Specialty Clinics to a section of the second floor of the hospital. This expansion has been made to serve more patients, and to offer additional specialties in the future.

All Specialty Clinics will now register on the first floor with Outpatient Specialty Clinic admissions, located on the east end of the front lobby near the cafeteria. Several specialty clinics will be held on the second floor, where several inpatient rooms were modified to make room for additional Specialty Clinic exam rooms.

Cardiology
Patients of Dr. Jeffrey Bissing will register on the first floor and will see Dr. Bissing on the second floor in his new clinic location. Patients may now make appointments to see Dr. Bissing Monday through Thursday. Healient Cardiologists will also hold clinics upstairs.

Endocrinology
Dr. Susana D'Amico’s clinic will also be held on the second floor. Patients will register on the first floor with Outpatient Specialty Clinic Admissions.

Podiatry
The Podiatry Clinic is still located upstairs, but will be housed in the new Specialty Clinic exam rooms rather than the Surgical Clinic at the end of that hall. Patients will register on the first floor with Outpatient Specialty Clinic Admissions.

Surgical Clinic
Dr. Joyce’s patients will continue to register in the Surgical Clinic for their appointment.

Hospital staff and volunteers are always happy to help patients find their intended destination at BCMH. The hospital appreciates their patients’ understanding through this transition. For additional information, call 660-200-7006.

Zina Lauraetta Holt, 92, Adrian, MO, formerly of Archie, MO, died Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Adrian Manor in Adrian, MO. 

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 9, 2019 at Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, MO. Contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, Butler, MO.
