Bates County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary volunteers are collecting socks again, and the community is invited to participate. Last week the Auxiliary began their 3rd annual Operation-Sock-It-To-Me campaign, a community sock collection for local kids in need.
If you would like to donate, please purchase new socks still in the package. Collection boxes are placed in the hospital's front lobby and each of our Family Care Clinics in Adrian, Butler and Rich Hill.
Operation Sock-It-To-Me will be open for donations until October 31, 2019. Socks will be delivered to area schools and given to kids in need ages 5 years to 18 years (grades K-12).
Drop-off locations are Bates County Memorial Hospital, 615 W. Nursery, Butler; Adrian Family Care Clinic, 102 E. Main St., Adrian; High Street Family Care Clinic, 706 S. High St., Butler; Nursery Street Family Care Clinic, 617 W. Nursery St., Butler, and Rich Hill Family Care Clinic, 225 N. 14th St., Butler.
The community’s help is very much appreciated to help make this project a success.
