The Butler Police Department is attempting to locate 29 year old Trevor W. Pajula in reference to a assault that occurred this evening in the area of South Main Street in Butler. 

Mr. Pajula has active warrants out of Butler PD and is said to be wearing orange shorts at the time of the assault.

Georgann Butler, 67, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at her home. 

 A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with inurnment to follow in Orient Cemetery.

Jim A Mahana (DOB 12/18/1960) registered as a sex offender today at the Bates County Sheriff's Office. Mahana is residing at 109 Vernon St. in Rockville, MO. 

He was convicted of Lewd or Indecent Acts to a Child on 6/12/1997 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Mahana is classified as a Tier 3 Sex Offender.
