State Farm Student Athlete of the week

State Farm Insurance of Butler is excited to introduce this week's State Farm Student Athlete of the week, Cooper Mead from the Adrian Blackhawks. Cooper had an amazing game last week and rushed for over 300 yards against the Archie whirlwinds.

Cooper is a senior on the football team, and he has grown a lot this year both on and off the field. He is focusing more on his grades and working hard to excel on the football field. Cooper was recently selected as 1st Team All Conference.

When we asked Cooper what it takes to become an elite athlete he stated "the most important thing is your attitude and working hard. You have to give it your all when you are on the field and have respect for your teammates and work together.

You can not rush for over 300 yards without your offensive line. It is a team effort." It was a pleasure meeting Cooper, and we wish him all the best in the future.

Thank you to Coach Matt Cochran and Principal Abe Lewis. Adrian plays in the District Semifinal against Wellington-Napoleon tonight at home. Good luck tonight Blackhawks!
