Arrests Made, Drugs Seized During Raid of Nevada Home

Two people have been arrested Friday afternoon after Detectives with the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 1200 block of N. Chestnut Street in Nevada, MO. Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher said his Office received information that occupants of the residence were selling methamphetamine. Mosher said a search warrant was executed, and suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were seized from the
residence. The suspects have been identified as 46-year-old Dale W. Garwood, of Nevada and 31-year-old Natasha L. Dillon, of Nevada. Warrants were issued Friday evening charging both Garwood and Dillon with:

Delivery of a Controlled Substance
Keeping or Maintaining a Public Nuisance

Both suspects are being held in the Vernon County Jail on a $25,000 Cash Only bond.

Obituary - Donna Jean Senior

Donna Jean Senior, 91, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at her home. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 27 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with graveside service to follow at Orient Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs.

Wanted Person In Henry County

** WANTED PERSON

Ellis Tuter, age 43, of 1015 SE 101 Road or 1019 SE 101 Road, Deepwater is wanted on a Henry County warrant for Domestic Assault and is a NON-COMPLIANT Sex Offender in Henry County. Tuter avoided arrest after he fled from the Clinton Police and Henry County deputies earlier Monday morning, November 25, 2019. 


The vehicle he was driving was located on SE 1020 Private Road just off of Hwy Z and a short distance from the addresses listed above. If you see Ellis Tuter, call 911....he needs to be off the streets!

Missing truck last seen headed south


Stolen out of Butler sometime between last Tuesday night & the early hours of Wednesday, November 20. Last spotted in Springfield, MO early Wednesday morning. 1997 Ford 1 Ton truck with HydraBed hay bale bed. $500 reward for information leading to the recovery of the truck.
