Miami R-1 December Students of the Month
Two vehicle accident in Cass County
On 1/9/20 around 7:15am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County responded to a two vehicle accident on Route D at 215th Street in rural Cass County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2007 Honda Civic driven by 24 year old Jacob S. Sullivan of Humansville, Missouri struck the unoccupied 2003 Kenworth that had already been involved in a accident and was blocking the roadway.
A passenger in the vehicle 21 year old Mark D. Bowles of Lees Summit, Missouri sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he refused medical treatment at the scene of this accident.
Obituary - Dalene K. Hall
Dalene K. Hall, age 63, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.
A celebration of Dalene’s life will be held with a visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2020 at the Crossroads United Methodist Church, 515 Markey Pkwy., Belton, Missouri 64012.
Dalene was born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 20, 1956. She was the daughter of Dale Rosine and Donna (Homm) Rosine. Dalene had five siblings, Alan, Rick, Mona, Karina, and Kelly. After graduating high school Dalene furthered her education with some collegiate courses and created a career for herself with the Internal Revenue Service for twelve years and then with the General Services Administration for another twenty-seven years. Dalene was a personnel specialist within the retirement department. In life Dalene was blessed with many people. In the early summer of 2003, she was joined in marriage with her husband, R.D. Hall on May 24th. Dalene enjoyed many things in life with traveling being at the top of the list along with spending time with her family. Many of her family members would tell you that Dalene was blessed with the task of keeping the rest of them in line. Dalene also was heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of America. For many years she served as the Commissioner for the Heart of America Council.
Dalene was preceded in death by her son Benjamin McClendon; son Dean Hall; father Dale Rosine; great uncle Don Rosine; and stepfather Jerry Miller.
She is survived by her loving husband of over sixteen years, R.D. Hall; mother Donna Miller; daughters, Edie Bruce (Alex) and Emily McClendon (Travis Burkhart); brothers, Alan Rosine (Leeann) and Rick Carter; sisters Mona Roberts (Mike), Karina Rosine and Kelly Ruark; fourteen grandchildren, Taylor (Seth), Candice, Wm. Kyle, Maddie, Jack, Hazel, Emmett, Chloe, Aiden, Bella, Sophia, Adam, Maddy and Breanna; and three great grandchildren, Oliver, Skyler and Nova.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the ALS Association Mid-America Chapter, 6950 Squibb Rd., Mission, Kansas 66202; Huntington’s Disease Society of America, https://hdsa.org ; or the Boy Scouts of America, 10210 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, Missouri 64131.

Clinton Police Department seeking public assistance
The Clinton Police Department is looking for assistance in finding these two subjects.
The subject in the black and white picture is Fred Griffitt and the color picture is Brandon Rollett.
Both are suspects in incidents in which they did not stop for us during traffic stops. Any help is appreciated.
Archie Elementary Students of the Month
On Tuesday, the elementary students, staff and parents celebrated our December students of the month. The character trait for December was integrity. Obituary - George Edward “Eddie” Rusow, Jr.
Eddie was born June 21, 1944 in Merced, CA, a son of George and Oma Lee (Gillis) Rusow, Sr. He was a 1962 graduate of Adrian High School and had lived in Adrian and Kansas City, MO before moving to Peculiar in 1979. He married Virginia Monteer on April 4, 1964 in Adrian.
After high school, Eddie worked for Bekins Moving Company for several years before going to work for General Motors. He worked at the Fairfax plant, for 35 years before retiring in 1998. He was a member of the UAW Local #31. Eddie loved hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling with family. Eddie was a beloved husband, father, friend, and neighbor. He was always willing to lend a hand and help anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, James Edward Rusow. He is survived his wife of 55 years, Virginia, of the home; one son, Jeremy Rusow (Nichole), Archie, MO; two daughters, Carla Hawkins (Mark), Archie and Patricia Brewer (John), Harrisonville, MO; one brother, Jerry Rusow, Adrian; one sister, Linda Moss (Shelby), Warsaw, MO; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
