Vote Doncella Liggins for Ward 2 Butler City Council
I, Doncella Liggins, am running for Ward 2 City Council seat. Temporarily, I was appointed by the Mayor to fill the vacancy of Councilman Mike Irick, whose term ends in April 2020. It will be a great privilege and honor to serve my community on the city council full term. I will do so by listening openly to the concerns of all of our community citizens with the goal of building a better Butler, one that thrives economically. It is my belief that public service is a responsibility that we all share.
I have lived in Butler for over 62 years attending school here and having raise my son, Brandon. I have been employed at Bates County memorial hospital for 16 years and Director of Health Information Management being knowledgeable of all aspects of management. Additionally, I have been involved in many local organizations and I have served on various city commissions and chamber of Commerce through the years. In April 2019, I had the distinct honor of being the recipient of the DeVerne Lee Calloway award as the "Outstanding Woman Of The Year" by members of the Women Legislator's of Missouri.
I am aware of some of the public concerns that face our town.
I'm your voice! This is our community! My pledge and commitment is to serve our community and contribute to it's growth and prosperity. To help my community to the best of my ability.
We live in a great small town. It's up to us t work together to make it even better place to live, work, raise our families, have fun and enjoy our freedom.
I, respectfully ask for your support and VOTE on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Thank you!!
