Montrose Lady Bluejays end season 26-4

Montrose lady bluejays girls basketball team did not quite get it done today. 26-4 is nothing to be upset about. From 13-13 last year to 26-4 and in the quarterfinals is a heck of a turn around and an unbelievable credit to these ladies who have worked so hard.

We say goodbye to Jaidyn Steinbach and to Abby Vogel who both led this bunch all year. Unbelievable young ladies. They will be sorely missed by their teammates, the coaching staff, and for sure our community. You two girls, know you are loved and welcome to come back anytime.

To our juniors, sophomores, freshman, and 8th graders. Next season starts Monday. This was a heck of a foundation to build on and your job is now to take this success and make it happen year after year. Make it so we don't rebuild, we just reload. We coaches expect that from you now...and you should expect it for yourselves.

End the year with a little meal for all.
